Our client is an automotive supplier that is growing their Columbus operation. They are a successful global operation that is investing here locally. They are searching for an experienced Sales Manager who has proven success in the automotive manufacturing industry to lead this new growth vertical. This is a key role to their committed growth and future success. This is a direct hire role where you will have the ability to make an immediate impact. As a Sales Manager for this company your duties will include:
- Managing current automotive customers and developing new ones
- Develop new sales projects and negotiate contracts
- Meet customers’ sales, service, and design needs
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions
- Some travel to customer sites
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in the automotive industry
- Technical aptitude, be able to read and understand part drawings
- Ability to communicate the technical requirements with customers and team
- Positive personality, desire to succeed, great teammate mentality
