Due to growth, our client is currently searching for a Buyer. You will be offered job stability, excellent base compensation, tremendous benefits including matching 401(k), and the opportunity to make an immediate difference for the company. You will be able to utilize your technical mind to solve problems, increase profits, and move the company forward in the right direction.
The current opening is for a Buyer. Main duties include:
- Research potential vendors and suppliers
- Request quotes for materials, products, and services
- Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery
- Manage quality and delivery issues and changes with vendors
- Travel when necessary to visit suppliers/vendors
- Work with production on forecasting material needs and orders
Qualifications include:
- A.S. degree in business management, logistics, supply chain, or similar
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar function
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong background with Microsoft Office, spreadsheet skills
- Must be detail-oriented, organized
